Fleet Accounting helps fleet managers track earnings, payments, and driver settlements all in one place. You can access it from the Accounting section in the Fleet sidebar.
Accounting Summary
The Summary page gives you a high-level view of your fleet's financial performance for any date range. You will see:
Gross earnings across all trips
Fees charged by Meter Pay
Driver payouts distributed to your drivers
Net position showing your fleet's revenue after fees and payouts
Use the date range picker to adjust the reporting period. A trend chart shows how your earnings have changed over time, with daily, weekly, or monthly groupings.
Ledger
The Ledger page is a detailed record of every financial transaction in your fleet. Each entry shows the date, driver, description, type (charge, payment, fee, settlement, etc.), and amount. Use this page to audit specific transactions or trace how a trip's payment flowed through the system.
Drivers
The Drivers page shows a per-driver breakdown of financial activity. For each driver, you can see:
Number of cash trips and MeterPay trips
Outstanding cash amounts
MeterPay collections
Overall net position
This helps you identify which drivers have outstanding balances that need to be settled.
Settlements
The Settlements page lets you record and track payments between your fleet and individual drivers. When a driver owes the fleet (for example, from cash trips where the fleet's share has not been collected), you can create a settlement record to mark the payment as received.
Trip Void Requests
Sometimes a trip needs to be voided β for example, if it was started by mistake, recorded incorrectly, or needs to be removed from the fleet's financial records.
How to Request a Void (Drivers)
Open the trip you want to void from your trip history.
Select Request void on the trip details page.
Enter a reason for the void request.
Submit the request. Your fleet manager will be notified.
How to Review Void Requests (Fleet Managers)
Go to Accounting in the Fleet sidebar. If there are pending void requests, you will see an alert banner.
Open the trip with the pending void request.
Review the driver's reason for the void.
Select Approve void to void the trip, or Reject void to deny the request.
You can optionally add a note when approving or rejecting.
What Happens When a Void Is Approved
When a void is approved, the trip's charges are reversed in the ledger. Any associated Meter Pay payments are adjusted accordingly. The voided trip will still appear in trip history but will be marked as voided.
Who Can Access Fleet Accounting
Fleet Accounting is available to fleet owners and admins only. Fleet members (drivers) cannot access the accounting dashboards, but they can request trip voids from their own trip history.
