How to top up the correct Stripe balance
If you need to add funds so your account can be reconciled or closed, make sure you top up the Stripe account connected to Meter (not a separate Stripe account you created directly on stripe.com).
Go to Meter Account.
Click Stripe Dashboard.
Open Balances.
Click Add funds and complete the top-up.
Common mistake to avoid
Do not top up a different Stripe account opened directly from stripe.com. Funds must be added in the Stripe dashboard launched from your Meter account so the balance is applied to the correct connected account.
After top-up
After adding funds, contact Meter support and confirm you completed the top-up so we can continue with the next step (for example, account closure if requested).
How to delete your Meter account
To permanently delete your Meter account, open the app and go to Settings. Select Delete Account and confirm. If you have an active trial or subscription, cancellation/renewal status should be reviewed before deletion.
