Steps to Use the Wait Time Feature:
1. Start a Ride
Begin by starting a ride as usual. The main ride tracking screen will display your current fare, time, distance, and rates.
2. Open the Bottom Sheet
Expand the bottom sheet. This will show additional ride settings and controls.
3. Start Wait Time
Click the Wait Time button in the bottom sheet. A confirmation dialog will appear.
4. Confirm Start Wait Time
In the dialog, click Start Wait Time to pause distance tracking. The ride fare will now calculate only based on the wait time fee per minute.
5. Resume the Ride
Once the wait time is over, return to the ride screen and click Resume Ride to continue distance tracking and normal fare calculation.
Key Points to Remember:
During wait time, distance tracking stops, and only the wait time fee applies.
The wait time fee is per minute and set by the driver.
You can stop the wait time at any moment and resume normal ride tracking.
Setting the Wait Time Fee:
You can configure the wait time fee in two ways:
During a Ride:
Outside a Ride:
Navigate to the Support tab.
Tap on the Wait Time Fee row in the settings section.
A dialog will appear where you can set the fee per minute.
Pausing a Ride:
You can pause a ride to temporarily stop accumulating distance and time. Here's how:
Tap the End Ride button in the bottom sheet.
In the dialog, select Pause Ride. This will pause the ride entirely, and no additional fare will accumulate until the ride is resumed.
