Wait Time Feature in Meter App

The Wait Time feature in Meter App allows drivers to charge for time spent waiting for passengers. This is useful when a customer asks the driver to wait during a trip.

How to Use Wait Time

  1. During an active trip, tap the "Wait" button.

  2. The meter will switch to wait time mode, charging at the configured wait time rate.

  3. When the customer is ready to continue, tap "Resume" to return to normal metering.

Configuring Wait Time Rates

Wait time rates can be configured in your fare settings. You can set:

  • A per-minute wait time rate

  • Whether wait time is included automatically or triggered manually
